Our good friends Travis and Nancy Morehen – that we left in Colorado <sniff> – sent us an unexpected, but tremendous house/boat warming gift. A set of Steiner Marine 7 X 50 binoculars with a cool yellow float strap!
These things are hard core. I couldn’t believe the weight when I picked them up. Water proof, shock proof, and should be able to handle my clumsiness.
John tells me that Steiner is well known in the military/hunting/marine world for making quality optics, and others will now have binocular-envy when they see us spying on our neighbours with our new hi-tech toy 😉
