We’ve now started to turn a corner, as we’ve finally moved from deliberate boat work to provisioning ourselves so we can live on anchor, or perhaps occasional mooring ball, and not plugged into a marina dock all the time.
We’ll try and describe each of these individual items later, but here is the list of projects that we had the professionals take care of for us.
3 X mast steps to access the sailbag and rigging
Spectra Newport 400 MkII Water Maker
Splendide WD2100XC Washer/Dryer
Rogue Wave WiFi antenna on the mast
Remove sail drive boots and paint with Hilux 33
Bypass “engine on” windlass requirement
3 X fresh water flush systems
Install 33kg Rocna Anchor w/ modified roller
Custom life raft bracket on hardtop
6 X 140W Solara flexible solar panels
Underwater lights
Update software on chart-plotter and instruments
We had originally had a dive compressor and dive gear on the list but thought we’d be more focused on learning the boat (and ourselves) this winter, and could divert those funds to be better spent elsewhere.
